Tips on Coffee:
Things to look for in a good coffee:
Body – Starts with a light “thin” mouth-feel and progresses to a full-bodied “heavy” mouth feel.
Flavor – Ranges from mild to deeply rich. By far the most subjective of coffee’s characteristics is distinctiveness. Distinctiveness does not necessarily mean better; many coffee drinkers prefer a mild brew.
Acidity – Acidity can be low or high. As acidity is best described as a pleasant, tangy “bite” at the first taste, it is considered a desirable quality by many coffee drinkers.
Aroma – Because the senses of taste and smell are so closely related, the presence of a powerful, evocative aroma can really enhance the experience of a great coffee. Many exceptional coffees do not have a notable aromatic quality, while other, when brewed, pervade everyone in the room with the desire to drink coffee.
No matter what, you are the one to decide what type of coffee is for you. You may like all of the above or you may not. So it’s your choice to decide what fits your pallet and your likes and dislikes.
